My Story

Awakening to Purpose: A Journey of Transformation

For a significant part of my life, I operated on autopilot, neglecting my own desires and conforming to societal expectations. Although moments of clarity emerged, they fell short of providing the profound awakening I needed to truly embrace life. Motherhood, illness, and a career in coaching played pivotal roles in steering me toward a newfound purpose—contributing to something greater than myself.

Coaching has been the catalyst for transformative change in my life, an ongoing process that continues to unfold. Through coaching, I unraveled the "why" behind my actions, unearthed my deeply held values, and unearthed a profound sense of purpose. My mission is clear: to assist others in discovering their passions, embracing core values, and living to your fullest.

If you're prepared to take the necessary steps toward becoming the best version of yourself, let's embark on this transformative journey together. The path to living life to your fullest awaits.

My Life Journey

Born in Argentina during a tumultuous military regime, my early years unfolded in a dark chapter of history, marked by the disappearance of individuals who dared to express their views. Growing up under these conditions, the concept of freedom and the ability to exercise it felt foreign. Despite a profound love for my country, I often sensed a disconnection, a feeling that something was amiss. From a young age, I harbored a deep-seated urge to speak the truth, even at the risk of personal liberties. This sparked a lifelong exploration of the human condition: How do we become our true selves? How do we attune ourselves to our truth? What imbues us with depth and understanding? And how do we fulfill our purpose on this earth? In essence, what is uniquely ours that inspires, brings joy, and ignites a fire within?

Continuing this exploration daily, I am a Certified Human Potential Coach (CHPC), a Certified Psychological Fitness Specialist, an Associate Certified Coach with ICF, and a Certified ADHD Coach Practitioner with MentorCoach. I am a member of ADDA (Attention Deficit Disorder Association) and ACO (ADHD Coaches Organization). My educational journey includes a bachelor’s degree in Kinesiology, a master’s degree in Dance, and various fitness certifications. From a young age, my affinity for movement—nurtured through gymnastics, volleyball, and ballet—became the very fabric of my identity. Today, as the owner of Tango for the Soul, I teach tango classes to adults, choreograph meaningful pieces, and facilitate instructor training courses.

Relocating from the chaotic city of Buenos Aires to the serene heart of Patagonia shaped my childhood. Spending years outdoors, playing with friends and helping build a family home in the bush, instilled an appreciation for nature and a profound connection to our environment. As a teenager, I immersed myself in outdoor activities, from hiking and biking to swimming in icy lakes.

After six months in Canada, where I mastered the language through an ESL program, my passion for Kinesiology blossomed. Despite the challenges of holding multiple jobs to finance my studies, I found a sense of belonging, a supportive community, and unwavering belief in myself. As Matthew McConaughey would say, it was a "Green Light" moment.

During my master’s degree I fell in love with tango and started to explore my roots. Really it was a calling rather than a rational decision to move to Toronto and start all over again. I found a wonderful tango community that embraced me from day one. I owe my career and success in tango to those that willingly and openly shared with me the essence of tango. I also had the opportunity to work with David Earl’s dance company as a videographer. I felt a strong pull to the story that David has been telling for many decades. I found myself drawn to the body, its movement, and the sacred wisdom that holds. The camera reveled nuances that the naked eye could not. My passion for movement and the story behind it started to emerge here.

Subsequent chapters unfolded in Calgary, where family became a priority. Motherhood brought profound experiences, from the awe of creating life to navigating the challenges of raising two children. Exploring trauma and its impact on parenting became a pivotal focus, delving into the realms of epigenetics and family trauma.

Five years ago, my husband's health deteriorated, leading us on a journey through the integrative and functional health realms. Mold toxin exposure emerged as the root cause, prompting extensive treatment, remediation, and reflection on the paramount importance of a healthy mind and body.

Training with the Human Potential Institute and MentorCoach sparked my interest in coaching focusing profundly in ADHD. Living with two brilliant individuals with ADHD, I witnessed the impact of misunderstanding and labeling, prompting a mission to empower parents, teachers, workplaces, and those with ADHD to defy stereotypes and find success.

My life journey has led me to take a deep dive into discovering what is the most important aspect of life. The one thing that truly matters. As you can see from this lengthy bio, I have personally delved into many aspects of my own humanity, and I continue the inquiry of self-knowing through the story that the body reveals. It brings me joy to be able to coach people that are ready to make a change. That change is moving away from reacting, being unconscious, and living in automaticity, towards intentionally choosing the life that is uniquely yours and is rooted in consciousness and freedom.
